Our fishing education offerings scale the full range of experience levels. We offer "101" type packages that focus on introduction to the basic gear, how to use it, and many of the fundamental skills needed to catch fish. Ice Fishing Courses

Similar to our open water packages, but on one of MN's frozen lakes. Focused packages include ice safety, drilling holes, fishing techniques and beyond. Packages ranging from introductory levels to more advanced species specific packages based on your experience level. Let's get you or your group safely out on the ice for a true Midwest education.

Darkhouse Spearing 101

Learn the foundational skills mixed with some moderns tools to create your own "Outdoor TV." We will show you how to find the ideal spearing location, cut a large hole in the ice, remove the ice blocks, and setup the darkhouse. That's just touching the basics, from there we can cover the gear used to lure in Northern Pike and what it takes to get one with a spear.

Ice Camping 101

Ice camping takes advantage of a season in the Midwest that can be often spent on the couch at home. Take this course to learn about the critical gear and setup to make the most of out our Midwest winters. We will show you how to stay safe and warm while ice camping. This course pairs well with our ice camping outfitting packages so you can have an extended adventure. Ice camping can also be combined with ice fishing to get more bang for your buck.
